Printed sleeve with 3mm spine, which holds an inner sleeve with a compact disc. Outer sleeve is printed in full color on FSC-certified 300g card stock. Inner sleeve is made out of black paper with a center hole. Such configuration is actually the exact replica of a vinyl record packaging. Disc on-body surface is printed in full color using inkjet technology. Instead of using shrinkwrap, each product is hand-packed in recycled paper and the whole production process is as eco-friendly as possible, with zero waste and no plastic parts involved.

The cover includes a QR code with the link for the full video recording of the show, originally featured on the dvd included with the sold out limited edition.

Absolutely handmade eco-friendly package in a strictly limited edition of 50 copies hand numbered.

For this first live release we decided to create something sleek but at the same time minimal: The package that will contain the two discs will be made of a single sheet of thick translucent wax paper folded to origami and will be assembled and numbered by hand. The printing will be done only with black soy ink. The audio disc will be a black vinyl CD (even in the data layer side!) while the video DVD will be instead completely white.

We are sure that you'll appreciate the atypical nature and the uniqueness of the packaging! :)

Hi folks! We are delighted to present our first official live record entitled “Serenades for passing strangers”. It’s a sound & video artifact passionately directed by our long-time fan, friend and manager Giuseppe Intorre, whom we thank so much for his fundamental support. It’s a complete document of our latest concert at Defrag, in Rome, on 21st February 2020, a special gig organized by Black Cat in which we performed a selection of songs from our 4 albums plus a very old track from our 1994 demotape and a new one, previously unreleased, played there for the first time ever. It’s a 100% live recording with no overdubs, made to be experienced in the dark turning the volume up loud…and with a nice surprise soundtracking the credits in the ending. Enjoy the show, TREES LOVES YOU.

Lycia have given up their trademark sound of heavily distorted guitars, which is a pity. instead they focus on mostly melancholic acoustic guitar pop songs with (up beat!) rhythm machines, Kling Klang Piano sound and other sonic experiments which are supposed to create an ethereal atmosphere but are often bleak and repetitive and mostly not dark at all. Thus disappointing except for tracks like Rewrite, Mist and hjoe834
